We have over 14 years of event planning experience and for 11 of those years, we've owned our own wedding planning business!
We’ve always had a passion for planning parties and events! After planning small dinner parties and showers for fun, we helped a family member plan her wedding and we were hooked - We started our business shortly after!
We’ve learned a lot along the way and we’re excited to share our knowledge with you!
ELYSE
I have always loved weddings and I'm a planner at heart! Planning all events and outings to the smallest detail! We got into planning events after Betsy and I would always come together to plans family and friend's parties. Once we started Two Sisters Events, my favorite aspect was taking bride's ideas for their wedding day and turning them into a beautiful, amazing event - Turning dreams in reality!
Now, I'm most excited about sharing all of the things we've learned over the past decade with even more couples!
I've been on both side of wedding planning! In November 2019, I married my husband, Marty. Planning our wedding was THE BEST! And I'm beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to help you plan your perfect day!
BETSY
I'm naturally less of a type-A planner like my sister, Elyse. It's kind of perfect that she naturally leads in that role, while I enjoy taking a leadership role in the creative, social aspects of the business! Even during the day of a wedding, with my calm nature, I tend to be more of an emotional support for our couples and their families. I let Elyse run the show while I keep everyone smiling and happy.
My absolute favorite moment during a wedding is just before the bride walks down the aisle - her emotions are usually running pretty high at this point and she'll look at me with these 'OMG' terrified-eyes! I get to remind her that she looks beautiful and everything is perfect - Getting to share in that moment is incredible!
We've planned and coordinated over 200 weddings and I am so happy to be able to share what each of those weddings has taught us!
